M and T Clothesline Festival (September 12, 13)
Oh my goodness gracious. Can you believe it? This festival has been around for over 60 years and there are so many reasons why! Check them out:

Fringe Festival (Sept. 17-26th)
What? 500 shows? 25 venues? Better start planning now! The good news is that some of them are absolutely free! But what exactly is the Fringe Festival. We are glad you asked. Here’s the scoop from their website:
Now in its fourth year, the Fringe is a 10-day, multi-arts festival taking place in and around downtown Rochester, NY. A 503(c) non-profit organization and one of 200 fringe festivals worldwide, the Fringe was pioneered by several of Rochester’s cultural institutions and emerging arts groups. Rochester’s Fringe is bifurcated — curated by the participating indoor venues as well as festival organizers, who produce several headliner events and the free outdoor entertainment.
Festival of Ales (October 10th)

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2015.
The Annual Autumn Festival of Ales featuring craft beer, live entertainment and a chili cook-off to benefit Mercy Flight. Over 3,000 beer lovers will travel to Honeoye Falls to sample over 30 craft beers brewed by CB Craft Brewers. Beers include CB year round brands and private label beers brewed for restaurants and bars throughout WNY. Several food vendors will be on hand as well.
Festival tents will be set-up at the Honeoye Falls Fireman’s Field located at 270 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls, NY. Festival hours are 1pm-5pm. For more information call 585-624-4386 or info@cbcraftbrewers.com.
Letchworth Arts and Crafts Show: October 10-12
It’s the 40th anniversary! It’s also held in the state park which was named the number ONE park in the US according to USA Today, so there’s that. Over 300 vendors and live entertainment. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Enjoy peak fall foliage at the spectacular “Grand Canyon of the East” along with the best in pottery, paintings, quilts and fiber arts, handcrafted jewelry, photography, furniture, decorative painting, dried floral pieces and more — just in time for holiday gift shopping. Over 300 artisans display their wares along with plenty of food vendors and many other activities for the whole family. Included in our entertainment lineup this year are Anastazja, Miché Fambro & Faixa, along with spinning wheel demonstrations. Performances or demonstrations are scheduled at 1 pm each day.
